The Computer Science Department is involved in research and experimentation in a variety of areas ranging from software engineering, genetic algorithms and parallel processing to array processing, computer graphics and virtual reality. Department faculty routinely involve undergraduate students in their research and experimentation. Such activities provide a unique environment which helps prepare graduates of the computer science program with the right combination of principles, theory and current practice so that they will be successful in the rapidly changing field of computer science.
